Curiosity to know how our food is grown led to learning about different farming practices. With the increased awareness, a small dream was born - to grow our own food and share it. As we delved deeper to learn commercial agricultural practices, we realized that many farmers have succumbed to the convincing trap of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, moving far away from traditional, non-toxic practices with superior benefits to the quality of crop and land.
Uncovering that the crux of farming isn’t just about planting and harvesting, but is majorly about nurturing the very foundation - the soil, led us to rethink our habits. This shift in perspective made us more conscious of all our everyday decisions and motivated us to form a community via Sebze Box. Our community is determined to thrive together by cutting down on unnecessary chemicals degrading the land, to avoid any and all sorts of overbuying or overusing and, thereby, to create a healthier and a more balanced agricultural system.
